OHS Girls Soccer Coaching Staff

Coach Tom DavidsonThe Ozark High School soccer teams are under the direction of veteran head coach, Tom Davidson.  Coach Davidson, originally from Colorado Springs, is a graduate of Missouri Southern State University in Joplin, MO (Bachelor Degree in Education) and Missouri State University (Masters in Physical Education). Coach Davidson is in his 10th year coaching the Lady Tigers. Previous to becoming an Ozark Tiger, Coach Davidson came from cross town rival, Kickapoo Chiefs in Springfield, where had 16 successful season.   Shortly after accepting the job at Ozark, Coach Davidson reached a monumental milestone with his 500th victory.  In the 2015 Spring girls season, he reached his 700th career victory.  He is among the top coaches that Missouri has to offer.  He and his wife, Missy, celebrated their 24th wedding anniversary on Aug 1, 2016 and have 3 children.  Morgan is a Senior at Harding University where she is studying Psychology.  Maya is a Senior at Ozark where she plays soccer, and has signed to play soccer at Evangel for the 2017 school year.  Troy, a Freshman plays Soccer, Basketball, and runs Track.  The Davidson’s are fully immersed in the Ozark Soccer arena as they are also coaches and/or managers for The Ozark Soccer Club (OSC Revolution) and are both board members of  Ozark Youth Soccer, Inc.  Ozark feels very fortunate to have such a stellar and well-respected coach leading our student athletes both on and off the field.  With the conclusion of the 2014 boys season, Coach Davidson sits with an all time boys record of 389-190-43.  Heading into the 2015 girls season, a girls record of 305-121-27 giving him an all time combined total of 694-311-70 ~which means Coach Davidson will hit another mile marker this spring by winning his 700th career win!!  Coach Davidson is a long time Southwest Region Representative for the MSHSAA Soccer Advisory Committee and holds an Advanced National Diploma from the National Soccer Coaches Association of America.

Coach Anastasia McGuire (Hannibal-Lagrange)  a will be the Assistant/JV coach to the Lady Tigers this 2017 Spring Season as well as OHS Boys Alum, Andrew Presnell.

Assistant/JV Coach ~ Anastasia McGuire

Entering her 5th year coaching at OHS, Anastasia Graduated from Kickapoo High School in 2002, where she played for 4 years for Coach Davidson.  She then went on for 3 years as a starter at Hannibal-LaGrange University, then Culver Stockton for 1 year.  She graduated from Culver Stockton in 2007 with a degree in Communication/Public Relations major and is currently working on her masters in education with an emphasis on foreign language.  Coach McGuire also has coached at the club level in addition to OHS Soccer.  Anastasia has a 4 year old son Brian and gave birth to baby Lila on December 5th 2016. Coach McGuire says “I am absolutely excited about coaching under my High School Coach.  Not many people get the honor of learning the game from the eyes of the person that taught you the game.  I feel privileged that I was asked to do this.”   OHS is extremely happy to have Coach McGuire on staff and look forward to watching the many years of coaching she has ahead of her.

    I hope i can make it to a game next year to see your team playing :) I miss playing for Ozark so much!
